FAQ

Are my PDFs uploaded or stored?

No. DocShift uses browser memory, ArrayBuffers and object URLs only; it does not use localStorage, sessionStorage or a product upload endpoint.

Can I process confidential contracts here?

The free browser task is local, but it is not a legal redaction or archival system. Review sensitive documents before downloading or sharing output.

Optional account features

OCR, table extraction, Office conversion and server queues need privacy, retention and security controls when files leave the browser. The free path remains in-browser.
